Dedicated to My Wife, Vickie…

Anyone who knows my wife, knows she can’t hide what she’s thinking. It always shows on her face. She can try as hard as she wants to hide it, but what she’s thinking always seems to shine through!

My wife and I were married on September 5, 1998. She became noticeably ill on September 6, 1998. Unfortunately, it took doctors many, many years to determine what was going on with my wife physically. They were constantly treating symptoms, but were failing to find the root problem.

It has taken many years, multiple surgeries, and a lot of suffering (and she’s not there yet), but Vickie does seem to be on the road to recovery, and we are truly thankful for that. During this journey, it would have been so easy for her to give up her faith, her hope, and even her life, but she hasn’t. Instead, she remains focused on the things that inspire her – her faith in God and the love she has for her three children.

Wherever you are on your journey, work to stay focused on the things that inspire you. If you are down, questioning, hurting, or just wondering if life is worth the struggle, remember the things that are important to you. Life is worth the effort. God doesn’t abandon us. Instead, He provides for us – many times in ways that we don’t even know or understand. Don’t lose or let go of your hope.

Thanks Vickle, for inspiring me, and so many. – Love, Greg
