A mom came home and found her freshly baked pie had a huge hole dug out from the center. A gooey spoon was on the table and pie crust crumbs led to her child’s room.

Mom called her child into the kitchen and said, “You promised me you would not touch that pie. And I promised I would punish you if you did.”

Her child replied, “well, since I broke my promise, it’s ok for you to break yours.”
