Prayer of Gratefulness
Dear God,
May we know your goodness and be grateful in all things and for all our lives.
It’s easy to be grateful for the good we experience, moments of joy, and when we succeed.
It’s not as easy to be grateful during the bad times, or the moments of sorrow, or when we fail.
Remind us that we can be grateful people through all that has happened and through everything that has brought us to this present moment.
Thank you, Lord, for teaching us gratefulness and for keeping your promise to abide with us through it all. Amen.
